Frequently asked
- Is this a full weaving draft tool with threading and treadling?
- Not yet. Craft Studio focuses on color-and-weave grid patterns — think pixel-level warp and weft color placement. Full threading, tie-up, and treadling drafts are on the roadmap.
- Can I import a photo?
- Yes. Click Import image, choose a JPG or PNG, and Craft Studio resizes and quantizes it to your active thread palette. The result is a color grid you can adapt to your loom setup.
- What weave structures does it support?
- The grid is structure-agnostic — each cell represents a color at a warp-weft crossing. You apply the structure (tabby, twill, satin) when you set up your loom.
