Frequently asked
- Does it handle non-square stitches?
- Yes. Crochet stitches are usually wider than tall, so each pattern has an editable cell aspect ratio. The gauge calculator uses your real stitches-per-4-inches and rows-per-4-inches to show finished dimensions.
- Can I import a photo?
- Click Import image in the editor toolbar. Craft Studio resizes the photo to your grid and maps each pixel to the nearest color in your active palette. Add more colors first for better gradients.
- Will it work for tapestry and graphgan?
- Yes — both are colorwork at heart. The editor doesn't lock you into a stitch type, so you can use it for tapestry crochet, intarsia graphgans, and overlay mosaic designs.
