Frequently asked
- Does the chart account for non-square knitting stitches?
- Yes. The default cell aspect ratio is 1.33 to reflect a typical stockinette gauge. You can adjust it in the editor toolbar to match your exact swatch measurements.
- Can I use this for Fair Isle and intarsia?
- Both. The editor produces a color-per-cell grid chart that works for stranded, intarsia, and duplicate-stitch colorwork. Stitch technique is up to you.
- Can I convert a photo into a knitting chart?
- Click Import image, choose a JPG or PNG, and Craft Studio resizes and quantizes it to your active palette. Add more yarn colors before importing for finer detail.
