Frequently asked

How does pixel macrame differ from regular macrame?
Pixel macrame uses rows of square knots in different cord colors to form a grid image, like a mosaic. Each cell in Craft Studio is one knot of one color.
Can I import a photo?
Yes. Click Import image, choose a JPG or PNG, and Craft Studio resizes and quantizes it to your cord palette. Keep the palette small — pixel macrame works best with fewer colors.
What grid size should I use?
It depends on your cord thickness and desired hanging size. A 20 x 20 grid in 3 mm cord produces a panel roughly 10 x 10 inches. Adjust to match your materials.
