Frequently asked

What size are the quilt squares?
The chart does not lock you into a square size. Pick your preferred finished square dimension (common choices are 2", 2.5", or 3") and multiply by the grid width and height to get total quilt dimensions. The editor's gauge calculator can do this math for you.
How do I estimate fabric yardage from a pattern?
Count the number of squares per color in the palette panel, multiply by your square size plus seam allowance, and convert to yardage. For a 2.5" cut square on 44"-wide fabric, you get roughly 17 squares per strip.
Can I change the colors in a quilt pattern?
Yes. Open the pattern in the editor and use the palette panel to swap any color. The grid updates in real time so you can audition fabric choices before cutting. Your changes save as a separate copy in your account.
