Anchor 1040 to DMC 647 or 3023
Anchor 1040 converts to DMC 647 Medium Beaver Gray or DMC 3023 Light Brown Gray. The published charts match more than one DMC shade to this Anchor color, so converting from Anchor means choosing between them.
DMC equivalents
On screen these two DMC shades look very close, so either is a reasonable substitute.
These matches come from four published conversion charts that we cross-checked against each other. Brand conversions are approximate, so treat every match as the closest substitute rather than an identical color. The swatches show DMC's colors as on-screen approximations, so check a physical shade card for color-critical work.
